A hungry, stray dog wandered the streets of Oman was on the hunt for some food. Unfortunately he was unable to find any, but he did locate a 3-day-old newborn who still had its umbilical cord attached.
The dog knew something wasn't right, so he made sure no further harm would come of the baby by taking into his mouth and off the dangerous streets. The dog found the closest house and placed the baby on the porch and began to bark, desperate for attention.
The family opened the door after hearing the barking, and were shocked to see what lay at their feet. The family immediately took the newborn to the hospital. The dog is a hero and saved a human life. Calling a dog 'Man's best friend' is an understatement. Let's just hope he found some food afterwards!
